Acerta Appoints Marc Vermette as Chief Revenue Officer

December 8, 2025

Kitchener, Ontario — December 8, 2025 — Today, Acerta announced the appointment of Marc Vermette as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Marc is a proven revenue and transformation leader with more than 25 years of experience scaling industrial and manufacturing technology companies. He has played a central role in shaping major digital transformation strategies at global enterprise leaders including Rockwell Automation, Accenture, and AVEVA—helping bring new industrial technologies to market and driving adoption across international regions.

Marc also brings a strong track record of accelerating growth in high-velocity startups such as Poka and SmartSkin, where he built and led global go-to-market teams and delivered exceptional revenue results. His leadership at Poka contributed significantly to the company’s successful $200 million exit.

As CRO, Marc will lead Acerta’s global revenue strategy across sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships. His early focus is to help more manufacturers build on their early success with LinePulse, to scale across the enterprise, and reap the benefits of multi-plant analysis across the industry. In his first conversations with the Acerta team, Marc noted that many manufacturers remain early in their digital maturity and have not seen meaningful returns from typical AI-driven initiatives. Marc emphasized that LinePulse stands out by defying the myth that AI fails to deliver on business value.

According to Vermette, “Like the emerging trend in Asian markets, LinePulse is an AI that works right out of the box, without needing custom model development. LinePulse is built to solve real-time problems and deliver measurable impact that really scales.”

Marc highlighted that manufacturers increasingly want speed to value, simplicity of deployment, and tools that give engineers actionable insight rather than static dashboards. He pointed to LinePulse’s ability to reduce root cause investigations from weeks to minutes, consolidate data across stations and lines, and help teams act proactively using predictive quality monitoring. In his words, “Plants are flooded with data, but the tools to make sense of it have not kept pace. LinePulse fills that gap.”

Looking ahead, Marc plans to accelerate Acerta’s growth through two priorities. His first priority is to expand the adoption of LinePulse within Acerta’s current customer base. His second priority is to position Acerta as the clear category leader in next-generation quality management, bringing AI-powered SPC, automated root cause analysis, and deep traceability to more manufacturers who are searching for real-world ROI.

“Marc brings the perfect mix of enterprise experience and startup agility,” said Greta Cutulenco, CEO and Co-founder of Acerta. “He understands the realities of global manufacturing and the need for solutions that deliver value quickly. Marc shares our belief that engineers need intelligence they can act on in minutes. His leadership will help us scale LinePulse to the many manufacturers who are ready for that shift.”
